This Is The End: Is God In Heaven?
Is God in heaven? Read on to find out about this third episode of “This Is The End.”
Mark moved to a less noisy place in the construction site and picked up the ringing phone. It was his wife, Esther, confirming if he had seen the recent news in the newspapers about a woman who had risen from the dead.
“I’ve only seen the news in the WhatsApp group dear, but some have and are talking about it now,” he said. “Many will now know that time is over, and these are all the signs for His coming…”
The First Episode of Is This The End: The Salvation Story.
Before the words were out of his mouth, he felt as light as a feather. Abruptly, in the far blue sky on top of him, he heard a trumpet that penetrated his now light heart! He then immediately became unaware of everything else as if physically blind. Without warning, he rose upwards towards the very bright light, that he saw spiritually when he raised his head in the direction of the trumpet.
He was ascending higher and higher and it occurred to him that he was leaving the earth, going towards the bright light. Thinking it was a vision or that he was dying, he was very convinced in his spirit that the Lord Jesus was in that light. “If I am dying, then it’s alright. Let me go and be with my Lord,” he thought in his heart.
He didn’t know for how long he ascended, for it seemed like a fraction of a second, and many minutes at the same time.
Finally, he got inside the light and started moving horizontally. When he finally stopped, he saw a very enormous gate, shining in the splendor of the brightness that came from within. All this while he hadn’t looked upon himself and when he did, he found out that he was all white and his skin was glowing in appearance.

Is God In Heaven? The Open Heaven Gate
He felt euphoric and phlegmatic, as he noticed two men in white apparel approaching him and he thought he saw a smile on their glowing faces. As if in this world communication was from within the heart, he was now aware that it had happened! The Lord had raptured the Church into heaven! He was in heaven! A place all Christians aspire to be so that they can see the One who loved and died for them on the old rugged cross. Heaven, where joy, peace, and love are everlasting!
“Oh! At last, I made it,” he thrilled in his heart. Oh, it was beautiful just standing there, beholding the magnificent beauty. The two angels, who seemed to read his thoughts, said nothing as Mark stood still facing the open gate in heaven. He turned his head sideways and was more surprised to see his children and wife beside him.
They smiled at him and the smile was none he had ever seen in his entire life on earth. It expressed euphoria and carried with it a very deep sense of love, one that makes you thrill with extreme excitement and happiness.
In front of him were other people too from all races of the world. The reason the two angels on each side of the open gate had said nothing as he stood there before them, was because the saints were marching towards the light, into the heavenly kingdom.

When the saints go marching in
They were advancing forward as if in the ranks. He took a deep breath, then a step, and went in through the beautiful gate. What he saw is beyond words to express! Nevertheless, I will try my best to make the reader aware of the heavenly beauty. It is very supreme and un-comprehensible to the mortal man in the flesh. So you too may yearn to be among the saints as they go marching in through the gate.
He was a narrow way that only one person could walk through. Besides the way, was a multitude of angels whose number no man could count! They were singing a song, a very sweet song that melted the heart of Mark, and he felt overjoyed and overwhelmed with beautiful emotions. Their voices were as the voice of many glasses of water and as the voice of thunder.
He heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. It was as when a bride majestically arrives at a church (walking to the rhythm of a sweet accompaniment) and the whole crowd turned their heads towards her just to have a slight glimpse of her beauty.

Jesus is in heaven
Mark was moving forward to the throne before him. Someone sat on the throne and was the source of the very bright light he had seen as he ascended from the earth towards heaven. His face gleamed like such precious stones as jasper and carnelian. And all around the throne, there was a rainbow the color of an emerald.
In a circle around the throne were twenty-four elders dressed in white and wearing crowns of gold. From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lighted torches were burning, which Mark knew were the seven spirits of God.
He also noticed in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. Surrounding the throne on each of its sides, were four living creatures covered with eyes in front and behind. The first looked like a lion; the second looked like a bull; the third had a face like a human face, and the fourth looked like an eagle in flight.
Each one of the four living creatures had six wings and eyes, inside and out. They sang, “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was, who is, and who is to come.”
Is God in heaven?
The four living creatures sang songs of glory and honor and thanked the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever. When they did so, the twenty-four elders fell down before the throne, and worship Him who lives forever and ever. They threw their crowns down in front of the throne and said: “Our Lord and God! You are worthy to receive glory, honor, and power. For you created all things and by Your will, they exist and live.”
In the midst of the throne, Mark saw Jesus Christ standing at the center of the throne, surrounded by the four living creatures and the elders. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and He wore many crowns on His head. Mark felt He was looking at him. He raised His hands and showed him the mark of the nails in the palm of both hands. Then there came from the throne the sound of a voice saying, “praise our God, all his servants and all people, both great and small, who have reverence for him.”
Then he heard a sound, as that of a large crowd, like the sound of a roaring waterfall, like loud peals of thunder. They said, “Praise God! For the Lord, our Almighty God is King! Let us rejoice and be glad; let us praise His greatness! For the time has come for the wedding of the Lamb and His bride has prepared herself for it. She has been given clean, shining linen to wear.”
The Second Episode of This Is The End: The Rapture of the church.
Mark felt happy and blessed to be in this wedding feast of the Lamb. He looked around him and saw all the saints joining the angels in the songs of honor and reverence to the One who sat on the throne. They all faced the throne now and swung their hands left and right above their heads in unison. It was a wonderful sight to behold the One who overcame the world, the One who died on the cross to save them.
He also saw the prophets and the twelve disciples of Jesus. They also sat around the throne, raised their hands in worship, and bowed down in reverence to God.
Is God in heaven? Yes. And those who live and walk in holiness will be with Him one day. It’s good to obey His WORD and prepare for the great day unknown of the rapture.
